Missing Pennsylvania Grandmother Found Dead in Sinkhole After 4-Day Search
A Pennsylvania grandmother, Elizabeth Pollard, 64, was found dead after falling into a sinkhole while searching for her cat. The incident occurred in Unity Township, where she fell into a mine shaft estimated to be at least 30 feet deep. Her body was discovered after a four-day search, which shifted from a rescue to a recovery mission. Pollard's car was found nearby with her 5-year-old granddaughter inside, who was unharmed despite the cold weather.
