Mexican Soldiers Uncover Workshop Producing Drone Bombs and Fake Military Uniforms
Mexican soldiers and police discovered a workshop in La Huacana used to produce drone bombs, grenade launchers, and fake military uniforms, indicating the operators had significant metalworking knowledge. The facility was one of two found in the town and is believed to be linked to the ongoing turf battles between the Jalisco cartel and local gangs in Michoacan. The warring gangs frequently use bomb-dropping drones, improvised explosive devices, and fake military uniforms, with recent incidents including a deadly cartel attack using drones in southern Mexico. Additionally, authorities in Michoacan also uncovered a narcotics lab with a large quantity of drugs, empty AK47 rifle magazines, and military uniforms.
