Mid-Wilshire Tragedy Spurs LA Leaders to Address Traffic Safety
A driver suffered a medical emergency and crashed into a mother and her 6-year-old daughter who were walking to school in the Mid-Wilshire district. The mother died at the scene, and the daughter was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver, a 30-year-old man, was injured and transported to a hospital in stable condition. LAPD is investigating the incident and may file charges against the driver at a later date.
