Twins Trade for Mets Reliever Michael Tonkin

The Twins have acquired right-hander Michael Tonkin from the Mets, who designated him for assignment last week. JR Ritchie, a top Braves prospect, will undergo Tommy John surgery and miss the remainder of the 2023 season and probably at least half of the 2024 season.
