Michael Ouweleen, President of Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, Discovery Family, and Boomerang, who previously oversaw TCM, will take charge of the network. The leadership change is part of the ongoing shakeup at Warner Bros. Discovery, which has seen several executives leave across the cable networks group. Kathleen Finch, Chairman and Chief Content Officer, US Networks Group, expressed gratitude for Changnon's leadership and innovation and assured staff of the company's commitment to the TCM brand.

Adult Swim Extends Programming and Premieres New Series.

Adult Swim is expanding its programming by one hour a day, starting nightly at 7 p.m. as of May 1, with the addition of new shows, including Unicorn: Warriors Eternal, a new show from Genndy Tartakovsky. Michael Ouweleen, the president of Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang, and Discovery Kids, sees a more settled operating environment taking shape in 2023 after months of upheaval following the close of WarnerMedia and Discovery’s $43 billion merger. Ouweleen says that animation has always occupied a unique place in the corporate portfolio, and the expansion of Adult Swim programming is a testament to its strength.
