Obama allegedly scolded Sony chief after The Interview hack
Former Sony Pictures CEO Michael Lynton recounts in a forthcoming memoir that President Obama phoned him soon after the Guardians of Peace hack, chiding the decision to fund The Interview for its plot about assassinating a North Korean leader. Lynton says he regrets greenlighting the movie and notes the hack’s fallout on the studio and staff; the memoir From Mistakes to Meaning hits shelves Feb. 24.
