Zelda Devs Discuss Balancing Classic and Modern Game Elements
The developers of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom addressed criticisms regarding the game's frame rate fluctuations between 60 and 30 FPS and the complexity of its menu system for managing over 100 collectible echoes. Co-director Tomomi Sano stated that the frame rate decision was the best option available, while co-director Satoshi Terada explained that the menu system encourages players to explore different echoes. An alternative notebook method is available for quicker access. The game is now available on Nintendo Switch.
