Minnesota and Quinnipiac will face off in the NCAA Men's Frozen Four championship game, marking the first time since 1993 that the highest seeds from each region will compete for the title. This is also only the third time in 53 events that the highest seed from the East has played the highest seed from the West. The championship game will see the top two overall seeds compete, which is a rarity in the 16-team format.
