Archivists in Pittsburgh are preserving artifacts from the Tree of Life synagogue, where a mass shooting took place in 2018, in order to create a museum and educational center dedicated to combating antisemitism and memorializing the victims. The artifacts include bullet-ridden Torah arks, lecterns, framed photographs, bloodstained carpets, children's books, and artwork.
