Yosemite National Park to Close Due to Flooding from Melting Snow
Yosemite National Park will be closed from Friday to at least May 3 due to melting snow causing flooding in the area. The park experienced snow levels at more than 300% than usual this past winter. Visitors who booked reservations for lodging and campgrounds during the closure will receive a refund, and wilderness permits can be rescheduled. Some areas of the park will remain open, but no visitors will be allowed east of El Capitan crossover.
