Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions surprises local contestants
Melissa Klapper, a history professor at Rowan University in Montgomery County, who won three consecutive games on "Jeopardy!" earlier this year, received a surprise announcement from host Ken Jennings that she will be competing in the Tournament of Champions. Klapper, who had been waiting to hear if she would receive an invitation to the Champions Wildcard competition, was thrilled by the news and considers it a special privilege. The Tournament of Champions will take place in early February 2024.
