Revitalizing Pristina's Urban Landscape: The Power of Graffiti in Kosovo
Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, known for its concrete landscape, is using vibrant graffiti to rejuvenate its public spaces and transform its dull image. Over 100 artists from 28 countries participated in the Meeting of Styles graffiti festival, covering 2000 square meters of walls along Rruga B. The festival aims to bring life to the city's concrete jungle and create more inviting and vibrant areas. The government has also promised to legalize the majority of the apartments and houses constructed without official approval after the war in 1999.
