Epic Games Accused of Withholding Royalties from Hatoful Boyfriend Creator

Hato Moa, the creator of the popular pigeon-dating sim game Hatoful Boyfriend, has claimed that she has not received any royalty payments from Epic Games since they acquired Mediatonic, the studio behind the game, in 2021. Moa tweeted about the issue, stating that she had reached out to Epic but received no response. Epic Games has since promised to investigate the matter. Despite the game being removed from several platforms, recent user reviews indicate that new players are still purchasing it on Steam. Moa expressed concern for the laid-off Mediatonic employees and expressed gratitude for their support.

"Fall Guys Season 4 introduces level editor for custom gameplay"

Fall Guys is launching a level editor called Fall Guys Creative on May 10th as part of Season 4. The level editor allows players to create multiplayer courses using a variety of items, enemies, and obstacles. Players can share their creations with friends or the entire community, and Mediatonic will curate lists of its favorite player-designed levels. Season 4 also includes new costumes and items at the store, as well as future collaborations with other brands.

"Fall Guys Season 4 introduces build-your-own-level Creative mode"

Fall Guys Season 4, titled Creative Construction, will be released on March 10th, featuring a new build-it-yourself Creative mode that allows players to construct and share their own levels. The new mode offers an intuitive, fully-featured construction toolkit available directly in-game, with additional themes, round types, obstacles, and music set to be added in future updates. The season also brings a new "digital" theme, a new obstacle, and changes to the overall delivery format. Mediatonic is also ditching Fall Guys' existing Season Pass model in favour of shorter, more frequent Fame Passes.
