Eric Dane, Grey’s Anatomy Star Known as McSteamy, Dies at 53 After ALS Battle
Eric Dane, best known as Dr. Mark Sloan (McSteamy) on Grey’s Anatomy, died at 53 after battling ALS, about 10 months after publicly revealing his diagnosis. He spoke about the disease and supported fundraising efforts, and is survived by his wife Rebecca Gayheart and their two daughters, Billie Beatrice and Georgia.
