MotoGP Round 5 in France: Crashes, Disputes, and Victories.

MotoGP points leader Pecco Bagnaia and rival Maverick Vinales have made peace after their crash at the French Grand Prix, despite a heated argument in the gravel trap. Vinales had lunged past Bagnaia for third place, but as he aggressively shifted his weight in preparation for taking a turn, he and Bagnaia made hard contact. Bagnaia went down hard after the second impact, while Vinales sped through the gravel, eventually forced to chuck the bike down with the wall approaching fast. The incident was placed under investigation, and Bagnaia asked the stewards to bring Vinales in for a discussion.

"Miller sets new lap record at Portimao in MotoGP practice"

Jack Miller of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing set a new lap record of 1:37.746 to top Day 1 of the Grande Prémio TISSOT de Portugal, ahead of Maverick Viñales of Aprilia Racing and reigning champion Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo Team. The session was interrupted twice due to technical issues and crashes, but the riders pushed hard to secure a spot in the Top 10 for Q2 ahead of the first-ever MotoGP Sprint. Marc Marquez and Joan Mir of Repsol Honda will have to fight through Q1 for a chance at a Q2 spot.
