
Suspect in Double Homicide Case Found Dead
The suspect of a double homicide in Mauldin, South Carolina, was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound after the bodies of two women, identified as Kim Melissa Thrift and Mariellen Bessent Minor, were discovered at an apartment complex. The suspect, Christopher Minor, was the husband of one of the victims and a family friend of the other. Authorities obtained arrest warrants for Minor on two counts of murder and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm. The couple's two children were present at the scene, and Minor was later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound near a lake.
