NHL Players Nominated for 2023 Masterton Trophy
Nick Foligno, a winger for the Boston Bruins, has been nominated for the 2023 Masterton Trophy by the Boston chapter of the Professional Hockey Writer's Association. The award is given to the player who best exemplifies perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey. Foligno bounced back from multiple injuries in the previous season to post 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points in 60 games with the Bruins before suffering a lower-body injury in late February. He is also actively involved in philanthropic efforts, including founding The Heart's Playbook Foundation with his wife in 2020.
