Sony has revealed that Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered has sold 1.5 million copies on PC, generating $52 million in revenue. The Last of Us Part I sold 368K units in its first month, generating $15.5 million in revenue. Sony plans to expand its portfolio on PC, with 40% of its first-party releases set to be on PC by 2025. The company estimates to make $450 million in FY23, successfully doubling its PC revenue year-over-year.
Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered is now available as a standalone product on the PS Store for £49.99/$49.99, offering 4K resolution at 60 frames-per-second and The City That Never Sleeps DLC trio. PS4 owners can upgrade to the PS5 version for $10, but the offer doesn't extend to those who have played the game via PS Plus.
PlayStation 5 will release a standalone version of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered later this month, which was previously only available by purchasing the Ultimate Edition of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The remastered version includes a redesigned face for Peter Parker, The City That Never Sleeps expansion, and exclusive Spidey suits. Players who own Marvel's Spider-Man on PlayStation 4 can upgrade to Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 for $10. The standalone version will cost $49.99.
