Markquis Nowell signs two-way contract with Toronto Raptors.
Kansas State point guard Markquis Nowell signed a two-way contract with the Toronto Raptors as an undrafted free agent shortly after the NBA Draft ended. Nowell, who led the team in scoring with 17.6 points a game, can join the Raptors' summer league team and during the regular season can play either for Toronto or a G-League affiliate. Despite his lack of size, Nowell had a breakout season in 2022-23 under first-year Wildcats coach Jerome Tang and was a first-team all-conference pick and third-team All-American on a K-State team that won 26 games.
