Fatal Officer-Involved Shooting at Appleton Bar
An individual who allegedly shot at police at the Maritime Tavern in Appleton died when an officer returned fire after responding to a report of shots fired inside the bar. The incident occurred around 1:33 a.m., and the armed individual confronted law enforcement upon their arrival. The involved officer has been placed on administrative leave, and the investigation has been turned over to DCI.
