Dallas Cowboys officially hire Marcus Dixon as the defensive line coach, reuniting him with defensive coordinator Christian Parker as the team rebuilds its staff and replaces Aaron Whitecotton. Dixon brings NFL coaching experience from stints with the Rams, Broncos and Vikings and previously played for Dallas, joining Parker’s expanding defensive coaching group.

Dixon spent the last two seasons as the Vikings’ DL coach after stints with the Rams (assistant DL coach in 2021) and Broncos (DL coach 2022-23); he also played for Dallas from 2008-10. The Cowboys also announced hires of Derrick Ansley as defensive pass game coordinator and Ryan Smith as secondary coach.
