"Star Wars: The High Republic Unveils New Details and Characters at SW Celebration"
The third phase of Star Wars: The High Republic publishing initiative, titled "Trials of the Jedi," will focus on the challenges faced by the Jedi against the Nihil and their leader, Marchion Ro, following the destruction of the Starlight Beacon. The phase will begin a year after the events of The Fallen Star and will run through to spring 2025, coinciding with the release of The Acolyte on Disney+. The phase will include adult, middle grade, and YA novels, with the first adult novel, The Eye of Darkness by George Mann, releasing on November 14, 2023.
