Activision Cracks Down on Call of Duty Maps in Fortnite Creative Mode
Epic Games has removed Call of Duty-inspired maps from Fortnite's creative mode, as they violate the game's policy against building maps from other intellectual properties. While fans can recreate select maps from previous Fortnite seasons, no one is allowed to build maps from other games. One Fortnite map creator has had their CoD recreations removed and has stated they won't be creating any copyright maps in the future. Epic Games' policy is especially strict, as recreations aren't allowed to be built using the Unreal Editor tool, let alone published or monetized.
