
Wildfires force evacuations and shut down highways in New Jersey.
A wildfire that broke out in Manchester Township, New Jersey, has grown to 2,500 acres, with only 10% of the burn contained as of Wednesday morning. One hundred seventy buildings on multiple roads in Manchester and Lakehurst were evacuated, with dozens of families impacted. The New Jersey Forest Fire Service says 75 structures are threatened by the blaze. The NJFFS and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Fire Department are battling the wildfire.
