Microsoft Resolves Outlook Issues, Ensures Smooth Email Search Experience
Microsoft experienced an Outlook.com bug that prevented users from searching their emails, which has since been fixed. However, a more significant issue is a flaw in Teams that allows for the sending of phishing emails and malware to other users. Microsoft has stated that they will not be fixing this flaw and instead encourages users to practice caution when clicking on links or opening unknown files. The flaw can be exploited through a Python-based automated attack called TeamsPhisher, developed by a US Army red teamer, which bypasses security controls and sends malicious attachments to external Teams users.
