Succession's latest episode showcases Alexander Skarsgård's character, Lukas Matsson, as a self-styled alpha male with a repellent mixture of privilege and ego, making even the Roy brothers seem reasonable in comparison. Matsson's problematic habits include cracking sexist jokes, sending half-litre "bricks" of his own frozen blood to his ex-girlfriend, and urinating in the middle of a hostile negotiation. The character adds a new level of toxicity to the series, which has always explored male predation and toxic masculinity.
