An ex-inmate at the Texas women's-only prison where Elizabeth Holmes is serving her sentence claims male prison guards 'carried out shower checks' and had sexual encounters with inmates. The former prisoner alleges that prison guards burst into the shower area as part of a prison strategy to crackdown on consensual sexual encounters among the inmates. The prison has been accused of not having an adequate number of female guards on duty to perform strip searches that are required by federal guidelines.
