Amerks secure OT victory to advance in Calder Cup playoffs.

The Rochester Americans advanced to the North Division final round of the Calder Cup playoffs after defeating the Syracuse Crunch 5-4 in overtime. The Amerks twice led by three goals, but the Crunch managed to tie the game with 29.9 seconds left in regulation. However, Lawrence Pilut scored his second goal of the game on the power play in overtime to secure the victory for Rochester. The Amerks will face top-seeded Toronto in the next round.
