Series of earthquakes hit North Carolina's mountain towns.
A 3.2 magnitude earthquake hit western North Carolina early Sunday morning, about 2.4 miles north of West Canton. The US Geological Survey reported that the earthquake hit at a depth of 2 kilometers or about 1.2 miles. The magnitude was enough to feel in the area and could have caused some minor damage, but no damage reports have been received yet. This comes after there were four earthquakes in North Carolina last week.
