The Dallas Cowboys waived defensive tackle Justin Rogers and cornerback Luq Barcoo to make room for new signings of Robert Rochell and Perrion Winfrey, with Rogers previously signed from Cincinnati's practice squad and Barcoo having limited NFL experience.
Luq Barcoo, a cornerback who played for the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL, has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Barcoo went undrafted in 2020 but played in three regular-season games for the Jaguars. He has since spent time with several NFL teams without playing in a game. Barcoo had offers from the Browns and Cowboys before choosing the Steelers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed running back Alfonzo Graham and cornerback Luq Barcoo to their 90-man offseason roster following their rookie minicamp. Barcoo, who played for the Santonio Brahmas of the XFL, did not attend the minicamp but received offers from the Steelers, Browns, and Cowboys. The team now moves on to Phase 3 of their Offseason Team Activities (OTAs) before training camp begins in July.
