Luis Urías Makes MLB History with Consecutive Grand Slams
Luis Urías of the Boston Red Sox made history by becoming the first player since 2009 to hit grand slams in consecutive plate appearances. Acquired from the Milwaukee Brewers at the trade deadline, Urías hit his first grand slam on Thursday and followed it up with another in his first plate appearance on Saturday. He also became the first Red Sox No. 9 hitter to hit a grand slam against the New York Yankees since 1990.
