The upcoming iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Plus are expected to feature OLED displays with ProMotion technology, including always-on displays and a 120Hz refresh rate. These models will mark the first time ProMotion is available in Apple's standard iPhone lineup. The devices are also anticipated to have larger screen sizes and use low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LPTO) panels, with Chinese supplier BOE aiming to provide these panels. However, if BOE cannot meet production requirements, Apple may turn to other suppliers like Samsung and LG Display.
