WhatsApp to Introduce Animated Emoji for More Lively Chats
WhatsApp is reportedly working on adding animated emoji to its messaging platform, which will mimic Telegram's existing feature by automatically adding animation to the outgoing or received message. The animated WhatsApp emoji are designed and created using Lottie, an optimized library that makes it quick and easy for designers to create animations but keep the package size small. The feature has been spotted in the WhatsApp desktop beta, and it's highly likely that animated emoji will be available on all versions of WhatsApp when released.
