NBC Delays Decisions on Comedies and Pilots, Renews 'Lopez vs. Lopez'
NBC has renewed George Lopez's comedy series "Lopez vs. Lopez" for a second season, but has delayed decisions on the fates of its remaining comedies and pilots until after next week's upfront presentations to ad buyers. The network is shifting to year-round programming and considering the impact of the Writers Guild of America's strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. "Lopez vs. Lopez" has the highest concentration of English-dominant Hispanic homes among all broadcast primetime series and will return to NBC midseason.
