Series of Wrong-Way Crashes Cause Chaos on Loop 101 in Scottsdale
The northbound lanes of Loop 101 in Scottsdale, Arizona were partially closed after a driver fleeing from a Department of Public Safety trooper caused a multi-vehicle crash. The driver went the wrong way on the freeway, resulting in a collision with six other vehicles. Ten people, including the two suspects and eight others in the other vehicles, were injured, with injuries ranging from minor to serious. The southbound lanes were unaffected, and the closure is expected to last until around 8 p.m.
