Lonnie Walker Joins Nets on One-Year Deal
The Brooklyn Nets have signed free agent Lonnie Walker IV to a one-year minimum deal. Walker, a 6'5" wing, has averaged nearly 10 points per game over his five-year career with the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Lakers. This is the Nets' second signing in free agency, following the addition of Dennis Smith Jr. The Nets see Walker as fitting their age, ability, and athleticism requirements. Walker played for the Lakers last season, averaging a career-high 11.7 points per game. He is known for his athleticism and developing three-point shot.
