Apple's VR/AR headset: Price, release date, and impact on business.
Apple's mixed reality headset, possibly called the Apple Reality Pro, is expected to have a limited production of less than 100,000 units in its first year, according to a TrendForce report. The headset was initially projected to sell around 3 million units, but that number has been reduced by a factor of 10. Despite this, Apple plans to introduce features such as the Reality Dial to change the perception of how we use VR headsets and expand its mixed reality product line. A cheaper version of the headset is expected to arrive in 2025.
