Two women from New Brunswick, Canada, were killed after their car collided with a logging truck in Washington County, Maine. The driver lost control of the car, drifted into the oncoming lane, and crashed into the loaded logging truck. The driver and passenger both died at the scene, while the driver of the logging truck was unharmed. Secondary crashes with tractor-trailers occurred, but did not contribute to the deaths. Roadway conditions are believed to have been a factor, and the crash is under investigation by Maine State Police.
