Fatal Crashes on Lodge Freeway in Detroit Leave Tragic Toll
A 21-year-old man was killed in a crash on the Lodge Freeway in Detroit after another driver failed to stop for traffic backed up due to a semi truck crash and fuel spill. The driver of a Chevy SUV collided with a Dodge Avenger, pushing it into a Toyota and a Ford. The 21-year-old driver of the Dodge Avenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver of the Chevy SUV suffered minor injuries. The Lodge Freeway was temporarily closed for investigation but has since reopened.
