Klopp rejects Real Madrid links after Alonso exit, urging caution at the Bernabéu
Jurgen Klopp dismissed Real Madrid job links after Xabi Alonso’s sudden sacking, saying there have been contacts but not from Madrid and that the club’s situation seems not right amid huge expectations. Alonso left after eight months and a cup-final defeat to Barcelona, with Alvaro Arbeloa named interim manager. Klopp stressed the speculation has nothing to do with him and reiterated there is no immediate plan to return to management, noting he remains focused on his current role with Red Bull and will consider future moves only when the time is right.
