Google TV expands free channel offerings to over 800 options.
Google TV has partnered with Tubi, Plex, and Haystack News to offer over 800 free live channels on its devices, including news channels from NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX. The channels are available on the Google TV Live tab and can be accessed without downloading or launching an app. The feature is currently available on Chromecast with Google TV and TVs that run Google TV from Sony, TCL, Hisense, and Philips, with Android TV users getting the update later this year on eligible devices.
