Media Molecule Co-Founder Mark Healey Departs After 17 Years

Media Molecule co-founder and creative director Mark Healey has announced his departure from the studio after 17 years. Healey served as a creative director on both LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2, as well as 2020's Dreams. Healey shared the news on Twitter, stating that he is ready to "chart a new course" within the games industry and embark on a new adventure in game development. Media Molecule recently announced that it will be ending live support for Dreams this September, as the studio shifts its focus to "an exciting new project."

Mark Healey Departs Media Molecule, Dreams Developer.

Media Molecule co-founder and Dreams director, Mark Healey, has announced his departure from the studio after 17 years. Healey was creative director on the first two LittleBigPlanet games and served as director during the development of Dreams. Healey's LinkedIn profile now states that he is "self-employed" and "open to work". Media Molecule recently announced that it will be ending support for Dreams on September 1, 2023, to focus on a new project.
