Olympic brawl rekindles France prosecution of Crinon for earlier goalie punch
French prosecutors will pursue Pierre Crinon for an earlier incident in which he punched Angers goalie Matt O’Connor, a case previously dismissed, after Crinon’s Olympic altercation with Tom Wilson; a Grenoble hearing is scheduled for May 27; the charge is intentional violence resulting in an ITT of less than eight days (a petty offense with a potential fine up to €1,500), and Crinon had already been suspended seven games by Ligue Magnus.
