
"Understanding Light Propagation in Integrated Circuit Chips"
Researchers from Technion's Andrew and Erna Viterbi Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering have developed a new method for advanced light imaging in photonic circuits on chips, allowing for real-time mapping of light propagation without damaging the chip. This breakthrough is expected to improve the design, production, and optimization processes of photonic chips in various fields, including telecommunications, high-performance computing, machine learning, medical imaging, and quantum computing.
