Gypsy Rose Blanchard: From Waukesha to Wealth and Early Release
Lifetime's new six-hour documentary, "The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard," features interviews with Blanchard and details her life leading up to and after the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, who subjected her to years of abuse under the guise of Munchausen syndrome by proxy. Wisconsin's role in the story is highlighted, as Blanchard's boyfriend, who carried out the murder, lived there, and it's where the couple fled post-crime. The series, which premiered on January 5, explores Blanchard's life in prison, her parole, and her marriage.
