VGChartz December 2025 hardware estimates name Nintendo Switch 2 as the global December best-seller with 3,813,393 units sold and a 16.09 million lifetime total. The PlayStation 5 is in second with 3,382,873 units for December and 89.44 million lifetime. Switch 1 and Xbox Series X|S trail, while 2025 year-to-date totals show PS5 leading at about 17.41 million units, Switch 2 at 16.09 million, Switch 1 at 4.89 million, and Xbox Series X|S at 2.55 million.
