Lego Fortnite is currently attracting more players than Fortnite Battle Royale, with over 2.1 million players at peak times. The Rocket Racing and Fortnite Festival modes have around 800,000 and 600,000 players respectively. In the Lego mode, players collect Lego items to build houses and objects, and over 1200 in-game costumes have received free Lego variations. Friday the 13th game will be removed from all storefronts on Dec. 31, 2023, due to licensing issues, but will continue to function until “at least” the end of 2024. The game is now on sale for $4.99 for the base game and $0.99 for each piece of DLC content. This is not the first licensing-related hurdle that the game has faced. Players can still enjoy the game through peer-to-peer matchmaking. Publisher Gun has moved on to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre for another asymmetrical horror experience.
