Michigan hockey defeated Penn State 2-1 in overtime to secure their 27th Frozen Four appearance, the most in NCAA history. Mackie Samoskevich scored the game-winner just 52 seconds into overtime, beating Penn State's goalie Liam Souliere, who stopped 40 Michigan shots in regulation. Michigan will face Quinnipiac in the Frozen Four on April 6 in Tampa, Florida.
