General Motors is investing in the production of low-cost lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) batteries at its Spring Hill plant to make EVs more affordable, with upcoming models like the Chevy Bolt EV and Silverado EV to feature these batteries, aiming for significant cost savings and increased competitiveness in the EV market.
Super73 has launched its Adventure Series of e-bikes, which includes refreshed designs, suspension, gear box, seats, tires, and lights across its existing Z, S, and R series. The company has also released its first electric balance bike for kids, the K1D, which uses safer and longer-lasting LFP batteries. The K1D offers 60 minutes of ride time after a 45-minute charge and can reach speeds of up to 16+ mph. The Adventure Series e-bikes start at $2,695 in the US and €3,599 in tax-inclusive Europe, while the K1D is available for pre-order at $1,295 for delivery in early June.
