Smosh co-founders reclaim majority ownership of popular YouTube channel after 12 years.
Smosh co-founders, Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla, have bought back the popular video game let's play channel they founded 18 years ago. Smosh was acquired by Rhett & Link's production company, Mythical Entertainment, four years ago. Padilla left Smosh in 2017 due to differences with the company's goals. Fellow YouTubers congratulated the duo on their return to their YouTube brain-child.
